Thrifted Furniture Flip

I love a good thrift store find and I was so excited when I found this piece for $100! I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like.

I started by removing the hardware and doors and cleaning the whole piece with Rethunk Junk The Prep. Then I primed it with Kilz primer. I used 2 coats of primer.

I painted it in Antique White by Glidden. It's an interior paint in a flat finish. I used 3 coats. Using both a brush and roller.

I bought the caning on Amazon and used it instead of the glass on the doors. I really think it made the piece look more modern.

I love taking something that wasn't wanted and turning it into something beautiful for my own home. And it's a great way to furnish your home for less.
