Happy National DIY Day
Did you know April 7th was National DIY Day? Honestly, I didn't either. But what better day to show off some of my favorite DIY projects?
When I saw this TV lift at Touchstone Home Products, I knew I needed it. We custom built the cabinet to house it. And I love it. No more ugly TV taking up space.
TV Lift Cabinet
Our electric fireplace is also from Touchstone Home Products. We built the fireplace surround. We have changed up the design on this piece a few times but I love it in its current state.
Open Shelving Brackets
When we removed our cabinets to put in shelving, I knew I didn't want store bought brackets. So we built our own. I love them and I love that they aren't like everybody else's.
Pie Safe and Plate Rack
Both of these DIY projects were free to make using scraps I had on hand. I get asked all the time where I got the pie safe.
Our latest and most expensive DIY. But the curb appeal it adds to our front yard is priceless. I can't wait for summer nights on the patio.
