Farmhouse Furniture Flip

I love refinishing furniture. In fact, a lot of the furniture in my home has been thrifted and refinished. It's so rewarding to give new life to a forgotten piece of furniture.

I found this beautiful console table on Facebook Marketplace. I loved it as is but it just didn't quite fit in with my farmhouse style. So I decided to give it a little update.

This piece has so much character and beautiful detail. I love the nailhead trim and faux leather in the middle drawer. But I knew it wouldn't quite match my vision for this piece.

I painted this whole piece a creamy white. I removed the faux leather in the middle drawer and glued in a piece of caning. I think it gives it just the right amount of farmhouse charm.

I really love the detail on the top of this table. And painting it gave it the farmhouse vibe I was going for. It matches my home and my decor so much better now.

To paint this piece I lightly sanded it and then wiped it down really well. I added two coats of primer and then three coats of Antique White paint. I sealed it with Dixie Belle Paint Gator Hide.
