I wanted a cute little tray I could use by my sink to keep dish soap, hand soap, and such easily accessible. This was a super easy DIY for under $15.
I bought the wood candle holder at Michael's a few years ago. It worked perfectly to use for the base. And it was already painted white and distressed.
I used DAP Rapid Fuse to glue the candle holder to the underside of the tray. Super glue or even wood glue would work as well.
I was going to paint the top to match the bottom but decided that I really like the wood look with the white base.
This little tray is so cute and can be used for many different things. Because mine is near the sink and to protect it from water, I sealed the wood with Gator Hide from Dixie Bell Paint Co.
