Do you consider yourself a coffee connoisseur? I’ll admit, I love coffee and I like to think I’m brewing the best cup possible at home. But I’m still learning. We’ve gone through a lot of coffee machines in the past looking for the best ones. We love the convenience of Keurig makers but dislike the cost associated with buying K-cups. We’ve also had just regular drip coffee makers that after time just stop working or the coffee just isn’t that great. And then there is the fact that I also really love my coffee maker to match my decor. Those are hard to find. Until now. We recently got a Moccamaster coffee machine. Not only is it beautiful, it also makes an amazing cup of coffee. And they are available in several colors.

We, of course, picked an off white one. These coffee machines are handmade in the Netherlands and are built to last. We love ours so much that I actually purchased another one for my parents for Christmas. We got them one in a beautiful Merlot color. Both that we’ve bought are the select model that has the option to brew a 1/2 carafe as well as a full. And also has an automatic shut off after 1 hour.

I’ve been reading up on ways to get the best brewed cup of coffee at home and have found so many useful tips that I didn’t know. For example, did you know that wetting your coffee filter before adding the grounds can give you a more flavorful cup of coffee? As well as grinding your own coffee beans? Of course everyone has a different preference when it comes to flavor. My hubby likes a dark blend where as I prefer a medium roast. So playing around with different brands and blends as well as amounts is key to finding the best of cup of coffee to your liking. And when you can brew a cup of coffee at home that tastes as good as what you’d order in a coffee shop, you’re on to something.

Since we don’t have a designated coffee bar, I really wanted a coffee maker that would look beautiful sitting on my kitchen counter. In fact, if I’m being honest, it’s one of the reasons I chose the Moccamaster. But after reading reviews about the durability, warranty and quality…I was sold. It had everything I was looking for. Although the price is a little high. But I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for.” And since this machine is built to last a lifetime, It’s an investment I was willing to make. I was gifted one of these coffee makers by Moccamaster but the other one I purchased. If you’d like more details or to see the other color options available, click here https://amzn.to/3IcQUcX
