Happy Thursday! Can you believe Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks? This month is flying by. And with that I’m so excited to finally have our guest bedroom done. Which I’m also using as an office. I wanted this space to be both cozy and cute yet functional. I added a fun accent wall using peel and stick wallpaper from http://www.wunderwallmural.com. The one I used is the rustic brick wall. mural. I love the warmth it adds to this space. The bedding is from the Opalhouse collection at Target.

The mattress is from http://www.zinus.com and it is seriously so comfortable. I’m not going to lie, I’ve actually slept in here a couple of times, my husband is a snorer. LOL. The bed frame I found on Amazon. There are still a couple of things I need to finish up in here like trim around the windows and baseboards but those things will get done in due time. For now I’m enjoying this new little space that I also get to work in. See the post here for the closet makeover that I did to convert it into a mini office. https://simplyminedesigns.blog/2021/11/01/closet-to-office-makeover/

This room used to be a bedroom for my niece and nephew that had bunk beds in it and a lot of toys. But they don’t sleep over quite as much as they used to so we decided that having a guest room would work out better. Plus they can still sleep in this bed when they do come for a sleepover. And I used underbed storage bins from Amazon https://amzn.to/3CajgB5 to store their toys and they are also perfect for storing extra bedding.

I love how cozy this room turned out. The “brick” wall is so perfect. And I love that I have a comfy bed to retreat to when the hubby’s snoring gets to be too much. Plus with the holidays coming up we have an extra bed for guests that come to stay. And I have another fun space to style and decorate.

Thank you for stopping by today! As always, I appreciate you taking the time to visit my little corner of the internet.
