Happy Friday and Happy almost Halloween. I’ll be sharing one more post with my Halloween decor and then…BAM! Christmas!!! I always get so excited to decorate for Christmas. It’s my favorite time of the year. And there is just something about Christmas decor that makes a home feel so cozy. When will you start decorating for Christmas?
Today for Friday Farmhouse Favorites I wanted to share one of my favorite things to decorate with, baskets. And more specifically, basket walls. I’ve done a few different basket walls in my house. From above my bed to layered on window frames. But my newest basket display might just be my favorite and definitely my most unique. Layered above my kitchen window. This window just needed something and I thought, why not? I had all the baskets and decided to make a basket valance.

I always like thinking outside the box with my decor and it’s even better when I can shop my home and use items I already have on hand.I also took down the hutch I had in this space and put a shelf back up. I love the cleaner. simpler look. I can’t wait to start decorating this space for Christmas. What do you think of my basket valance?

I also just added this tiered tray to this space. I used to have a 3 tiered tray but the size of it made displaying it in small places hard. This one is so much shorter and fits perfectly next to my sink. These trays are super fun to style, making them a perfect addition to your decor. I got mine on Amazon https://amzn.to/3ms2aK9 This one is the Coffee color.

The baskets were all thrifted. Either from thrift stores or Mercari. I really love how this turned out. I hope it inspires you to try new things with your decor. Even if it seems unusual.

I hope y’all have a safe and Happy Halloween. We will be spending it at home handing out candy to all the little trick or treaters. As always, thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet today.
