Harry Potter Halloween Tree
Happy Monday! Have you ever put up a Halloween tree? This is my first time putting one up. I decided to do a Harry Potter theme and I’m obsessed with how it turned out. My tree is from King of Christmas. It’s the 7 1/2 foot pre-lit King Noble Fir. I used burlap ribbon to fill in the tree. And added clear plastic ornaments that I filled with rolled book pages that I actually used on my tree at Christmas last year along with big twine balls and rustic stars. I printed out Harry Potter themed pages that I found online. I used vintage looking paper and burned the edges to make them look worn and old.

I found the adorable Owl picks at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas department. And also found some cute little vintage trunks. I got the little winged keys on Amazon as well as battery operated clip on candles that came with a remote.

I also wrapped some scrap pieces of wood in kraft paper and tied twine around them. Added some fall foliage and finished it off with a Harry Potter sorting hat that I found on Amazon.

I know putting up a Christmas tree in October is crazy to some people. But life is short and I believe in doing what makes you happy and if that means putting a Christmas tree up in October then just do it. Besides technically it’s not a Christmas tree it’s a Halloween tree. Thanks for stopping by today.
