Can you believe it’s almost Fall? I’m sure by now you’re decorating for the changing season or at least thinking about it. I’ll be honest, I started decorating in August. And since then I have changed the decor several times. LOL. But I finished up my family room and I think I’m happy with it. But knowing me, that could change. Throughout my home I stayed with a neutral palette with just hints of muted Fall colors.

I wanted a cozy, warm vibe. So I used lots of texture, layers, candles and twinkly lights. I added a couple of cedar trees from Nearly Natural that are pre-lit. I love that they look amazing with my Fall decor and will transition so well into the upcoming holidays. And besides who doesn’t love twinkle lights? I’m a fan of them year round.

There is just something so cozy and magical about a lit tree. It’s probably my most favorite thing about Christmas time. So of course I was all about adding these little trees for Fall as well. I actually have several items from Nearly Natural and I love them all.

Fall is definitely my favorite season. Crisp mornings, coffee and a fire. Even though our fireplace isn’t real it still adds a cozy vibe to the room. It’s a great option if you can’t have a real fireplace.

My husband built the fireplace and the insert is from Touchstone Home. I added the billy bookcases from Ikea to the sides and added a shelf above the TV then made the whole thing look like one unit by adding trim and molding. I have my dough bowl on the shelf above the TV and for Fall I added pumpkins and fall leaves.

On my window gallery wall I just added some simple Fall touches. The wreath is from Ballard Designs. The architectural piece above the window and the coffee table are from Decor Steals. I made the blanket ladder. The Hey Pumpkin pillow is from PCB Home.

One of my favorite things to decorate in my family room is my console table. I added this adorable sign from Krumpet’s Home and layered it with my mirror from West Mirrors.
