Fall Styled Hallway Shelves
Hey friends! I have some exciting news. Well exciting to me anyway. My home has a tiny feature in the Fall edition of American Farmhouse Style magazine. It goes on sale September 7th. You can preorder it here https://www.engagedlifestyle.com/american-farmhouse-style/american-farmhouse-style-oct-nov-2021 I’m so honored and excited for this oppurtunity for them to share my home. And speaking of Fall…are you as excited for Fall as I am? I’m so ready for cooler weather. I’ve been adding Fall touches throughout my home and I’m loving the cozy vibes it brings in. There is just something about the rich Fall colors that makes me happy. I’ve also noticed the cooler air in the mornings and evenings and it’s giving me all the Fall feels. I absolutely love this time of year. Crisp mornings, pumpkin spice lattes, oversized sweaters and warm blankets. This is the season of warmth and all things cozy
We have this awkward space at the end of our hallway that I recently built shelves in and I was so excited to get them all styled for Fall. It’s the one spot in my house I think I used the most color in. Lots of warm, rich Fall colors.

Our hallway is still a work in progress but it’s coming along. These built in shelves added so much character to this space. And I love having more shelving to decorate. Now I just need to finish getting the doors framed and eventually I would love to add hardwood flooring throughout my home. That’s the thing with living in a fixer upper. Never ending projects. Someday we’ll be finished. But getting there is the fun part. I love creating our home and making it our own. And filling it with all the things we love.

These cute little fabric pumpkins were a fun find from Target a few years ago. I love the cute patterns and how well they fit in perfectly with the amber bottles. I also love how my printers tray fits in so well with the Fall colors. Here’s a hint…if you want to add height or fill a space, books are a great way to do that. You can buy them for super cheap at thrift stores and then just lay them down or stand them with the pages facing out. You can even wrap them in fabric or brown craft paper. It’s a very easy way to add to your decor without breaking the bank. My books are actually ones I had, I just took the paper covers off.

Have you started decorating for Fall yet? Or are you still holding onto Summertime? I do love Summer but this one has been so incredibly hot and dry. I’m ready for a cool down. We did have a few days of rain and cooler weather and it was so nice. It really got me in the mood to bring the Fall bins out and start decorating and cook soup in the crockpot.

Whenever it is that you start decorating for Fall, I hope you found some inspiration to help you while you were here today. Thank you so much for stopping by!
xx, Shanna
