Happy new week friends! What is your favorite season? Mine is definitely Fall. And since we’re half-way through August it’s time to start bringing out the Fall decor. I got all of my totes out over the weekend. It’s always fun to take inventory and see what you’ve got to work with. And it always amazes me how much I forgot I have. I guess it shouldn’t surprise me since I literally forgot what happened last week. But every year I do like to go through all of my seasonal decor and get rid of the things I no longer use or that don’t quite fit in with my current style. As I’m sure most of you know, our styles change and what was cute a couple of years ago, just doesn’t work anymore. I’ll be going through totes the next couple of days and figuring out what stays and what goes. I also like to clean and declutter before a new seasons decor goes up. I did manage to get some Fall decor styled in my kitchen. We sold our kitchen table and added this table my husband made instead, which is a little smaller. But I love it.
We will also be making some cute benches to go with this table. Isn’t my hubby handy? I actually had him make this for me to use as a desk in my office but since I closed my shop I decided to use it here instead. It just needed a little paint touch up. And I absolutely love that cute shelf on the bottom of the table for my baskets. I’m really loving the subtle Fall vibes in this room. I think I’ll continue that throughout my house.
