Happy Tuesday sweet friends. Question…do you like to read? I love reading. And I’ve always wanted a cozy spot in my home to curl up in with a good book and a cup of coffee. A reading nook…if you will. This isn’t quite a nook, but I love how cozy this space feels with my new hanging chair. This chair is from http://www.songmics.com and it is seriously so cute. Not to mention, super affordable. My husband was super nervous to hang it inside because he was afraid it wasn’t going to hold in our ceiling. But we found a truss (with the help of my hubbys stud finder) and screwed a eye hook into it. We then bought some chain from Home Depot and hung it using a carabiner that opens easily. That way I can put the chair up when my niece and nephew come over. I love them but I guarantee they would get crazy in the swing and stress me out. Haha. Do you have a reading spot in your home? Or just a cozy alone time spot?

Doesn’t this make you want to grab a book, and a cup of coffee and just relax? It’s literally my favorite new spot to hang out in. My living room has been a work in progress for awhile now but I’m finally loving how it’s turning out. I still want to add new flooring and new sofas but when you’re working within a tight budget, these things take time and patience. Unfortunately patience is not my strong point. But for now I’ll just enjoy the view from this cozy spot. And in case you were wondering…the answer is YES! With the soft chair pad it comes with, this chair is actually very comfy.
