Hello friends! And happy Friday. Quick question…Have you received the Covid-19 vaccine? I got my first one yesterday. My son was pretty sick with Covid a few weeks ago, luckily nobody else in our family got it. But with a new surge in cases in our county we thought it might be a good idea to get the shot. Especially since I spend a lot of time with my niece and nephew who are returning to school soon and with my Mom’s recent cancer. I’m a massive baby when it comes to shots and I seriously didn’t even feel it. Haha. All that worrying all day for nothing. But while I was waiting for appointment time I played around with a fun tablescape using these adorable dishes from Bico Ceramics https://amzn.to/3ywbtMI

This is my second set of dinnerware from Bico. They are amazing quality and absolutely beautiful. Not to mention super affordable. I thought this pattern called Fern & Grass was the perfect set for a late Summer / early Fall tablescape. I love Summertime but Fall is definitely my favorite season so I love when I can bring the seasons together. It’s always fun putting together tablescapes for the different seasons and holidays and being able to transition decor from one season to the next. The best part is that you can get really creative and add in any element you like. I like candles and greenery so they are almost always a staple in any table setting I put together. And glass accents. Whether it’s a glass cloche or some beautiful glass drinkware. It adds the perfect setting for the candlelight to play off of creating a beautiful ambience.

We only have one kid still at home, who usually like to eat his dinner in his room, so we don’t do elaborate table settings hardly ever. But I still like creating them. I love the warm, cozy vibe it adds to my kitchen. Oh, and in case you were wondering…the pie is fake. But it sure looks good enough to eat. It’s from my sweet friend Dawn http://www.instagram.com/everythingdawn Her faux cakes and pies are amazing and allow me to trick all of you into thinking I spent hours in the kitchen baking! Fat chance…I’m not really much of a baker but I do make a pretty awesome cinnamon roll. I’ll have to share that recipe soon.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope y’all have a wonderful Friday! Now, let’s get ready to weekend!

xx, Shanna
