Light Wood Tones Mixed With Creamy Whites ~ A Match Made In Heaven

Welcome to a new week! I started the week off in my shop working on new Christmas items for my Etsy store. Mostly Stocking Tags but I’m also adding a couple of new signs soon. I can’t believe it’s already time to start thinking about Christmas decor. At least in the retail world, that is. But while it’s still a little soon for all things Merry, I thought I’d share my favorite color palette with you. I’m talking about light weathered wood tones and creamy whites. I’ve been adding new items in my living room and I’m finding that they all have a common theme..light weathered wood and creamy white chippy paint. The combination is absolutely beautiful. Wouldn’t you agree?

I love how well this combination goes together. Whether on top of my hutch or on the coffee table. It even looks beautiful against the wallpaper I put in my living room. If you follow me on Instagram you probably know that I’m a huge fan of woods and whites. It’s a combination I use frequently throughout my home. To me, that’s Farmhouse Style. And although I try adding color, I always come back to what I know and love. Woods and Whites…A match made in heaven.

There is just something about this soft color palette that feels warm and welcoming. I especially love this shelf and how well it blends with the crates and the console table. Like they were always meant to be together. And with the light colored wallpaper and creamy white walls, it just finishes off the whole space. I get asked often about the paint color I use in my home. I use Antique White from Glidden. And depending on the room or piece of furniture, I use either a satin or flat finish.
