What do you think of when you hear cozy cottage style? For me, it’s creamy whites mixed with light wood tones, candles, greenery and chippy painted surfaces. It’s a style that is reminiscent of a simpler time. We have this little space by our front door that I felt needed some cozy cottage vibes. I recently got a couple of new items (an end table and a shelf) from Decor Steals that I knew would be perfect for this space. I absolutely love the details on the little end table. The flowers carved in the wood, the perfect distressing and the wicker shelves. It gives me all the cozy cottage feels. And the shelf above it is just as beautifully detailed.

This might just be my favorite little corner in my house right now. So cozy, so warm, so inviting. All the elements that are needed for cottage farmhouse styling. There are so many styles of home decor, and they are all beautiful, but my heart will always belong to cottage farmhouse decor. There is just something about the style that reminds me of days gone by. When homes were adorned with handmade furniture that was built with love and aged pieces that were beautifully displayed but also served a purpose. A simpler time when families prepared and ate meals together. When hard work and dedication were met with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. I strive to find that kind of simplicity in my own home. I adore all things vintage, aged and chippy.
