Simple Patriotic Decor
It’s Summertime. Which means barbeques, lazy days at the pool, fireworks and celebrating the good old US of A. Whether you go all out for the 4th or keep it simple, sprinkling some red, white and blue around your home is a fun way to celebrate America’s independence. I like to keep my patriotic decor super simple. Over the years I’ve decorated for the 4th by just adding small. simple patriotic details into vignettes I already had styled. One of the ways I like to do that is by adding a little red, white and blue to a centerpiece on my kitchen table. This year I added some adorable wooden stars to my centerpiece. And the year prior I added flags. Along with a few patriotic details on my kitchen shelves.

This year and the previous have been the hardest I’ve experienced in my lifetime, which I’m sure rings true for most of you. It has been hard on our nation, our children and our mental and physical health. I think now, more than ever, we need to show our love for our country and for each other. I’m proud to be an American and displaying the red, white and blue in my home makes me happy. Even if it is subtle.

What are some of the ways you add patriotic decor around your home? Do you keep it simple or go all out? No matter which way you go, Summertime is for celebrating our beautiful country and all the freedoms we enjoy here in the USA. There is no right or wrong way to share your patriotism.
