I added wallpaper above the board and batten in my bedroom.

Have you hopped on the wallpaper bandwagon yet? I honestly never really thought much about hanging wallpaper in my house. But after seeing so many Pinterest pins and Instagram posts, I decided to give it a try. The first place I put it was in my living room. See that post here: https://simplyminedesigns.blog/2021/06/09/living-room-wallpaper/ I love it so much I decided to add it to my bedroom as well. I did board and batten on half the wall in my bedroom a few years ago and have since struggled with the decor situation. or lack thereof, above it. Not that it looked bad. It just needed something.

I knew the wallpaper I had on hand would be perfect because of it’s soft neutral color. The wall paper is from Sandberg Wallpaper and the print is Alva Sandstone. I was a little unsure of hanging it but with this adhesive from Amazon https://amzn.to/3cCjuXA it was super easy.

I think it’s safe to say that I am officially on the wallpaper bandwagon. I love the character it adds to the wall while still remaining simplistic. Now i just need to find the perfect piece of decor to hang above the bed. Or not. I really like it the way it is too. So are you ready to hop on board with the wallpaper trend? I say, if you’re on the fence, just go for it!

If you’re scared to go all in on wallpaper that uses adhesive, there are some really good, removable peel and stick options available. Find the option that works best for you. I chose the wallpaper I did, because I loved the pattern but I also loved putting in the time and effort to hang it. I always appreciate a finished project more when I’m aware of the work and time that was put into it.
