I’ve been wanting to add wallpaper somewhere in my house for quite some time. I knew I wanted something that was neutral and not too busy looking. I had been searching online for awhile when I came across http://www.sandbergwallpaper.com and was instantly pulled in. They have the most beautiful patterns with a farmhouse, Scandinavian vibe. I picked a floral print in light beige with creamy white flowers. The pattern is called Alva Sandstone. I absolutely love how it turned out. I chose to put it on a wall in my living room that also has a huge window. The wall needed something and I think this wallpaper was definitely the right choice. Not that the wall was ugly. It just needed a little oomph. 🙂

Our large sectional used to sit along this wall and when we moved it the wall felt so empty. I was worried that the wallpaper would make the wall look too busy with the window or that you might not even really notice it at all. But I can honestly say that neither of those things happened. It seriously transformed this wall in the best way.

Can you believe what a difference this simple change made? And it only took me a few hours and I did it completely by myself. This is the first time I’ve hung wallpaper in my home. I have done peel and stick before but not actual non-woven, paste-the-wall wallpaper. I bought the wallpaper adhesive on Amazon https://amzn.to/3cx2K3V along with a few tools I might need. Just so you know, the adhesive goes a long way. I did this whole wall and still have over 1/2 of the container left. This wallpaper said to use the paste-the-wall method so I just used a paint brush and painted the adhesive directly on the wall. It stayed wet enough that I could easily move and position the wallpaper. I almost didn’t want to put any of my decor back on this wall because I didn’t want to hide the beautiful new addition. But I absolutely love how this shelf pops against it.

I’m so in love with how this wall turned out. I actually have another roll of this paper and will be doing another wall project soon. Hint* It’s in my bedroom. Can’t wait to show you! This pattern is so pretty and neutral making it super versatile. I’m excited to see how it looks in my bedroom.
